About Us

For more than 40 years the Rick O'Brien name has been synonymous with Creative Design and Quality Construction. First as a founding partner of O'Brien & Meeks Construction and later as Crosstie Construction the name recognition continues today as Rick O'Brien & Company, Inc.

Often building on land purchased by you or on one of the lots we have available directly to us, our recent projects include many custom homes in the Westwood Estates Subdivision in N. Attleboro and several neighborhoods through-out the nearby communities of Mansfield, Foxboro, Norton and Canton. We are frequently invited back to do projects in homes we previously built, often for the original owner and many times for the new owners.

MEET THE TEAM

 

Rick O’Brien

OWNER & FOUNDER

I am married with four daughters and live on Cape Cod. I started my career right out of trade school.
I worked as a framing and finish carpenter for 20 years. The company I worked for relocated to New York in 1972. My decision was to go into business for myself – this is my idea of a perfect career.
I take great pride in all the homes we've built of over the years!

 

Dan McCracken

Dan joined our team as a painter when he was 18 years old.
We talked him into working with us as a carpenter.
He has been with us since 1980.

 

Glenn Perry

Operations manager

Glenn is our CAD design and Operations Manager. He has been with the company since 1989.
He is key in our customer coordination, including design, selections, finances and so much more.

 

Steven McCracken

CARPENTER

Steven has over 40 years experience in framing and finish carpentry.

 

Tony Restano

Tony has over 30 years of experience in framing finish and cabinetry.
